Find Your Wireless WEP, WPA, WPA2 Password (Mac& Windows)

For printing a document or photo wirelessly, you require network password to connect the printer over wireless network.

For Mac

Step 1: Find the password from a computer connected to the wireless network

You can see the network password on a Mac by opening the Keychain Access application

Step 1: Print the first side of your pages

To set up the first side of the print job in the document print settings, some settings hinge on where the paper tray is on your printer. Before you start , check your printer type below, then select the correct setting when specified in the steps.

  •   Mount enough blank paper to avoid paper ordering issues.
  •   Open the file you want to print, click File, then click Print.
  •   If no settings exhibits, click Show Details.
  •   Select your printer’s name in the Printer menu

  •   Choose if you want to read the two-sided document like a booklet or like a tablet.
  •   Eliminate the first side pages from the output tray, tap the load on a flat surface to align the pages, then mount them into the input tray.
    •   For booklet reading and tablet reading, flip the pages over so that the printed side is facing down, and load them top edge down and up.
  •   Choose Automatic from the Page Order menu and click print.
  •   Arrive at the Print menu in the document, and select Even Only from the Pages to Print menu.
  •   Tap on Normal from the Page Order menu and click print.
  •   While printing the other side, prefer whether you wish to read the document as booklet or tablet, reinsert the pages in the input tray
  •    Establish the print job in the software.
  •   Make a choice if you wish to read the two-sided document like a booklet or like a tablet.
  •   Remove the first side pages from the output tray, then load them into the input tray.
    •   Place the printed side facing up and the top edge moving into the printer for booklet reading.
    •   Place the pages with the printed side facing up and the bottom edge moving into the printer for tablet reading.
  •   Go back to the Print menu in the document, then choose Even Only from the Pages to Print menu.
  •   From the Page order menu, choose Normal
  •   Select Print.

Printing Photos (Windows)

Use standard paper and adjust the print job settings for best photo quality.

  •   Initially, eliminate the plain paper tray from the main paper tray and then insert photo paper into the main input tray
  •   Depending on the printer type, insert the photo paper
    •   For Inkjet printers with a rear load tray: print side facing up
    •   For Inkjet printers with a front load tray: print side facing downwards
    •   For LaserJet printers with a front load tray: print side upwards
    •   After inserting the paper, modify the paper width guides.
  •   Change the brightness, contrast and other appearance settings for the photo.
  •   Open your photos either with Windows Photo Viewer or Paint by right clicking on the photo and then click Print.
  •   If necessary, change the layout, quality and color by opening the Document Properties window and then click Print.
  •   Eliminate the photo paper from the tray after printing. Never keep the paper for an extended time as it may begin to curl.

  •   Before inserting the photo paper, discard the plain paper from the main paper tray.
  •   Insert the short edge of the photo paper into the tray depending on your printer type.
  •   Insert the print side facing upwards or downwards if it is rear load tray and front load tray respectively.
  •   After completing the above steps, adjust the paper width guides.
  •   In the Printer menu, change the orientation and from the paper size menu, you can manage the custom sizes for your photo paper
  •   After altering the print settings, press print to begin the printing.

Slow Printing

While printing a document, your printer prints a document slowly. You can follow the instructions to solve the error.

  •   Make sure that you switched on your printer.
  •   Detach the power cable from the printer and from the electrical outlet.
  •   Hold for a minute.
  •   Reconnect the power cable to the printer and to the electrical outlet.
  •   Pause until the warm-up period finishes, and the printer is inactive before proceeding to the next step.
  •   Look for the printer below Windows, and then Choose Devices and Printer in the list of results.
  •   Scroll to the Quality settings area, ratify that the Draft or Normal option is chosen.
  •   Press Ok or Apply option to ratify the alterations made.
  •   If a USB cable is used to connect the printer to the computer, it should be detached from the printer’s rear side.
  •   From the existing list of installed programs, select the printer and then select Uninstall or yes.
